Mini-MBA with SIA IBN: We've signed up!
Remember the dialogue from Wall Street:
Bud: How much is enough, Gordon? When does it all end, huh?...

Not to lose and not to be lost in the jungle of business (yes, it is a jungle even if it is a system, Mr. Teacher), our staff have signed up for a mini-MBA course "7 Steps to Success" ("7 шагов к успеху") with SIA IBN. Despite all the shocking revelations we had to make and the painful changes we had to undergo, it was an experience not to be missed!
Thanks to the team of highly professional business consultants, Jevgeny Firsov and Konstantin Belkin, we learned how to be better managers, how to trust our coworkers and what motivates them to work for the welfare of the company (it's not only about money, you know). A lot of teaching concerned the improvement of our own managerial skills. We saw how things went in our colleagues' companies and discussed what should be done to achieve better results. It was hard work, really.
The declared (and fulfilled) model of teaching - presentation-demonstration-training (рассказ-показ-тренировка) - met all our expectations about how business matters should be taught. The themes covered during the 108-hour course encompassed the following aspects of management:
- strategy
- project management
- problem-solving
- practical marketing
- personal development
- effective communication
- personnel motivation
- business planning
At times, I wonder what if we had never come across this course?... Better not think about this.
